My style of painting is inspired by the contemporary impressionist landscapes of Chinese artist Wou-Ki Zao, and the bold motif of flowers of American artist Georgia O’Keeffe.
Informed by the colours and compositional arrangements of O’Keeffe, and the expressive mark-marking of Wou-Ki Zao, I am presently developing my own visual language.

The message I am trying to convey to the viewer is that being calm, peace and nurturing is the philosophy of the “nature”.

How much time is spent creating your piece?
The time spent on my piece depends on the inspiration itself, but usually it takes time to try to convey the message I want through my painting. I like to block out time to not rush the painting, so it usually takes 3-4 hours over a span of a few days to complete one piece.
What is your vision / philosophy?
My vision is always to share to everyone that mother earth is a blessing to human beings. Human and nature have to live in balance in with each other so the future is bright for the next generation.
